Murphy Sonoma Cleary
One of our famous cheerleaders! Murphy's life philosophy is "Don't Sweat the Small Fleas in your Life". Very mellow, loves to eat, nap and is obsessed with her frisbee (named feebee). Murphy & her sister Guinness have been pictured in the Madison Courier, the local business directory, many TBC ads and flyers. Murphy will also make apprearances to special events to help other pups in need, like our "Smooch The Pooch" event, our upcoming Spay & Neuter program or you may just see her strolling down Main Street.Nicknames: Smurfy, Murph-a-lurf, Little M and Monkey.
Guinness Napa Cleary
Our other famous cheerleader! Guinness' philosophy on life is "Always Be On Guard for Cookie Time". Guinness is a little more high strung then her sister, Murphy. She loves to be on the "hunt" in the backyard for moles, rabbits, turtles, frogs, everything. She'll even chase butterflies! Alongside her sister, she's been highlighted in ads, flyers, articles, etc...and loves to help other pups in need. You may also catch her strolling down Main Street and growling at all the black garbage cans that line the sidewalks.Nicknames: Gigi, Ginny, Little G, Goober-Nut and Pickles.
Bailey Carneros Cleary
Bailey is our newest fur baby,she joined the pack on
June 4, 2010. This little lovebug is just now one year old and we are her fourth and final home. Bailey loves to "hunt" with her sisters, run around with her "sheep-sheep" toy and savor gourmet meals and treats. She also loves to watch animal shows on the television! Look for her to be our upcoming spokesdog for helping other canines in need!

Golden Cleary
Our wise old Zen guru was Golden Cleary, our 16 year old Yellow Lab/Husky/Pit Bull mix that started life dumped on highway 50 in CA. Her philosophy on life was "You're Only as Old as You Feel". She loved to prance around, take daily strolls and eat pancakes and bacon almost every morning....loved life and followed her momma everywhere! Passed over the Rainbow Bridge 4/2/2010.Nicknames: Bear, Grizzly, Big G and Goldie Schmoldie
Our most common asked questions is..."What is the Blue Cerebus"? Blue stands for Blue Cleary, our beautiful Blue Heeler that we saved from a shelter in Fort Bragg, CA in 1994. She was two weeks past her "death date" at the shelter, but had won the hearts of everyone there & they wanted to give her a chance for a loving home. She was smart, funny & would tell me about her day every day after I came home from work. Blue passed over the Rainbow Bridge in 4/19/2006.
Cerebus stands for Cerberus Cleary (nicknamed Cerebus) my wonderful Black Lab & Beagle mix that I found at a farm in 1992. The runt of the litter, free to anyone that would take him. His name stems from Greek Mythology about a three headed dog that guards the river Styx in Hades. Cerebus loved to go to the local park and actually go down the slide with all the children! They loved that he would do that. He was the biggest lover and thought he could make himself invisible by standing near an object & thinking he was camaflouged. Cerebus passed over the Rainbow Bridge in 6/19/2000.
Our secret puppy play area, Kiki Kourtyard, is named in honor of our big hearted Great Dane, Lolo Kaiki Cleary (Kiki for short). She we saved from neglectful people. Her old name was Daisy and my dad called her crazy Daisy because she would run wild on his farm. When I rescued her I took the name "Crazy Daisy" and converted it in the Hawaiian language to Lolo Kaiki. The bond between Kiki and I was incredibly strong and she made me laugh everyday! She tragically and unexpectedly crossed over the Rainbow Bridge in 9/5/2007.
